Here at Rats Cats & Elephants we have two systems for our marines.
Our fish system comprises of twelve aquariums ranging from four foot down to eighteen inches. all the aquariums are connected to a central filter system with two trickle towers, two protein skimmers and eight 55watt u/vs, a thirty six inch inch sand filter with two reservoirs totaling 2000 litres.
We buy our fish from all around the world, all fish will be quarantined in our quarantine system for a minimum of two weeks before going on sale.
We invite any customer to inspect our quarantine facilitys please ask.
Our invert system is seperate from our fish and comprises of ten aquariums ranging from fifty inches to twenty four inches, also connected to this system is a 675 litre live rock tank from which we sell fully cured live rock, we cure our live rock in a seperate system for a minimum of three weeks before moving it out for sale. we import most from around the world, this gives us better prices that we can pass onto you the customer.
our soft corals are lit by arcadia led lights, our hard corals are lit by arcadia t5 luminares, our live rock and our fish are lit by arcadia hybrid lamps.
